ABOUT THE CONSERVANCY

ABOUT THE CONSERVANCY

In Land to Sea’s commitment to protecting the environment, its policy is to ensure the long term protection and preservation of both protected and sensitive habitats and species. The conservancy is open to the public for field trips, bird watching, and nature studies, along with biological and scientific research on the plants and animals with our biologist’s approval and supervision.

The public is permitted the use of existing trails on the conservancy; however, giving wildlife a haven away from humanity is the very heart of what Land to Sea stands for.

In the spirit of scientific discovery, Land to Sea encourages proposals for research on the conservancy if the research will minimize impact to the land held by the conservancy. The priority of the conservancy is to keep habitats in their natural state. Please visit our Contact page to inquire.

Land to Sea is always looking to expand the amount of land under its protection. Land to Sea ensures that any land in its conservancy is preserved in perpetuity. Information on donating can be found in the Donate to the Conservancy page and any inquiries about donating land or other assets to Land to Sea Conservancy should be sent to James Chaffin. His contact information can be found on the Contact page.
